EdgeVenture Camp
Available every day except Sundays, kids ages 4-12 experience a little bit of everything that Ocean Edge has to offer. Bring a bathing suit, towel, sun block and a hat to each session. The half day program is $55 per child and runs from 9:00am to 1:30pm and the full day session is $80 per child and runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Lunch is included in both programs. Space is limited and 24-hour advance registration is required. Members receive a 15% discount off posted prices.

 |  $6 Million Nicklaus Design Golf Course Nears Completion
Ocean Edge Resort & Club on Cape Cod is in the homestretch of a $6 million Nicklaus Design renovation to its 18-hole golf course. Weather permitting, the back nine holes will be unveiled Memorial Day weekend, with the 18-hole course in its entirety slated to debut October 2007.
The total Nicklaus Design Re-design of the Ocean Edge golf course has remodeled and reshaped all greens and holes, with the most significant changes being increased length, better playability and more challenges on the course. The greens are being customized to United States Golf Association specifications. To accommodate member and guest play during the renovation, the par-72 golf course is being carefully redesigned in two phases.
The course will be a more challenging course but will still be fun and enjoyable for resort guests. The new golf course is strategically appropriate for all levels of play.
Gearing up to unveil its newly designed golf course, Ocean Edge will also transition from semi-private to a private course, exclusively available to club members and hotel guests. The Nicklaus Design course will be one of Cape Cod's few private fairways. Members and their guests will enjoy access to all recreational and social privileges at the Cape Cod resort. Golf and sport membership options accommodate the avid golfer and sports aficionado.
The multi-million dollar project also includes revamping the Linx Clubhouse, which now features a members-only lounge, expanded locker room facilities and soon, additional function space for member events.
For those duffers not quite at Tiger's level, Ocean Edge Resort & Club on Cape Cod offers golf clinics and lessons available through the Linx Golf Shop with the resort's own team of PGA professionals, including junior clinics for children ages six through 17.
The Nicklaus Design Group recognizes Ocean Edge Resort & Club on Cape Cod's unique setting as an asset to the reconstruction. Ocean Edge is blessed with a great natural landscape: mature trees, rolling topography and the right elevation changes to create a parkland setting. Each new member referred to the Club by a Member must pay full initiation fee as written in the Membership Offerings at the time of application to be applied toward the rewards program. Mud Flat Mania at Ocean Edge with Naturalists from Cape Cod Museum of Natural History Brewster beaches boast gentle surf, soft sand, warm water and a beach that changes dramatically changes in appearance every few hours. Golf Course Usage prior to Opening
Dear Members,
Weather conditions permitting, the golf course plan to officially re-open is Thursday, April 1, 2010 with tee times beginning at 9:00 AM. The date was set and projected by Kyle Peigh, Director of Agronomy, that by this date, he and the Agronomy Team will have the course prepared and ready to handle the demands of play.
Prior to the April 1 course open date, please refrain from playing. Now that the weather is starting to turn for the better, there have been many instances of Members playing the course, and this play is creating damage. Please be aware of the following reasons why it is important that we do not have players on the course prior to be open:
- Walking or driving on frozen turf can cause damage to water holding structures in the leaf tissue. This causes the leaf to dry out and die which increases the recovery time in the spring once the soil temperatures are at optimum levels.
- Ball marks on greens and divots do not heal and are not repaired until the Agronomy staff is able to access the fairways/greens once the soil/turf has thawed. Again, causing stress and damage to the turf at a time where there is no growth and delaying course condition recovery from the winter.
- Ice and snow is still present and is considered a slip/fall hazard.
- Golf and Agronomy staff are not able to assist people on the course during an emergency when the course is closed.
Please note, infractions by Member's playing the course prior to it being open are reported to the Advisory Board. Notices of compliance demand will be sent and disciplinary action taken if required.

Both facilities are staffed by U.S.P.T.A. certified Tennis Professionals.
The 2-hard surface Blueberry pond tennis courts, located behind the Reef Café by the EdgeVenture Club House, are available for complimentary play from mid-April until November.

Golf Course Access to Registered Players Only:
For our members living on property, please remind your guests that the golf course is for registered players only. For the safety of everyone concerned, please refrain from bike riding, walking, jogging, or any other activity on the golf course. Not only is it a distraction to the players, it can be very dangerous situation due to wayward shots.
Additionally, due to severe damage concerns, the golf course cannot be used as an extension of the backyard after hours. If there is activity on the course after hours, please notify the Front Desk / Security at 774-323-3050.
Tee Time Availability:
Members may call for an advance tee time reservation 3 weeks out from date of play! Please call the golf shop directly at 774-323-6200.
Sport Members have access to the course, 6 times per season, prior to Memorial Day & Post Labor Day weekends.
Hole In One Pool:
The annual Hole In One Pool of $10.00, is billed in April of each year to Golf Members. In the event a Member or accompanied guest scores a Hole In One, the pool covers the bar tab, $150.00 credit to the golf pro shop, a take home commemorative plaque, and your achievement engraved on the permanent plaque located in the Members Lounge.
GHIN Handicap System:
Ocean Edge Resort & Club is a USGA Member Club, and accordingly operate the golf handicap under the guidelines of the USGA. All active golf members of the Club, those participating in any Club events, must maintain their handicap through Ocean Edge. If you have a GHIN handicap established at your home club, we can merge the GHIN numbers so that your scores posted here will also be reflected at your other club.

Charity Events and Golf Outings
Ocean Edge Resort & Club on Cape Cod has long been known as the region’s first choice location to host a successful tournament and fund-raising event. Event organizers know that impeccable service, outstanding golf on the Cape’s only Nicklaus Design Championship Course, and a facility that can accommodate large groups with ease, are the ingredients for a successful event.
At Ocean Edge Resort & Club, our goal is provide each event guest an unparalleled golf experience, both on and off the course. We will help event organizers plan a terrific pre and post golf menu so your guests can enjoy great food and drink throughout the day, provide event formats, rules sheets, cart signage, event announcements, complete with a professional scoreboard, and event summary sheets to ensure a seamless conclusion to the day’s activities.
Ocean Edge Resort & Club is proud to reintroduce itself as the “Premier Private – Resort” on Cape Cod, and has limited openings for the upcoming season to meet with event organizers to set dates and plans to meet their fund raising objectives. We are currently accepting reservations for events, availability is limited. Please note that from Memorial Day till Labor Day the Golf Course Driving Range is open to Golf Members and Hotel Guests only. Also, proper golf attire is required when using all Golf Course amenities, including the Golf Course Driving Range and Practice Putting Green. Any person who is not in proper golf attire will be asked to change, this includes any person not hitting balls. Please refer to your Membership Handbook for Proper Golf Course Dress Code. | Ocean Edge is offering a three day Junior Sport Camp to all juniors’ ages 5 – 9, 10 -16 years of age.
The member opening tennis party was a great success with 24 players. Our prize winners were as follows:
1st place: Michele Cudilo
2nd place: Nancy Fischer
3rd place: John Rosenbluth
Both Fletcher Tennis and Bay Pines tennis are open for the season. All Adult programs, round robins and socials have begun for the season. Our Junior programs begin June 21st.
